A rare Victorian shell back arm chair with iron frame back. The chair has carved cabriole legs at the front, and original castors on all four legs.

It has been re-upholstered in a soft grey/blue fabric to highlight the shell back, complemented by a simple double piping trim.

There is a lot of ‘spring’ and give in the back, due to the iron frame construction.

This would be an ideal bedroom chair.
