Mole Vintage respects and takes very seriously the security and privacy of your information. Mole Vintage provides its service to you subject to this privacy policy and we will continue to review it.
We also reserve the right to amend it.

The GDPR regulation requires us to have an appointed Data Controller who is responsible for the secure data storage. What personal information do we hold about you and why?

If you have purchased any product from us, the personal information we hold about you may include your name and address, your contact telephone numbers and your email address.

This personal information is needed for the purposes of providing you with a price quotation or issuing invoice(s) for the services or goods provided by us.

If you have subscribed to our newsletter mailing list, the only information held is your email address with the time and date of joining.

Who do we share your information with?

When you send us your information, we will only ever use it for the purpose that contact was made. We do not, and will not, use any of your data for any other reason.

Your details will never be shared without good reason and will remain under our control and management always.

In some situations, such as delivery, it will be necessary to share your personal information with one of our transport services.
The data passed will be limited to that necessary to obtain a delivery quotation and complete the order.

We will never sell your data to a third party. Personal data is not shared with anyone.

The Mole Vintage website includes a 'Join mailing list' option, and users who voluntarily add their details to this will receive regular newsletters.

We will not share our mailing list with any third parties.

Keeping your information safe

Our personal information (customer data) is kept securely under the administration of a Data Controller in the UK.

We treat the security of storing your personal information seriously, and we follow industry standard best practice to protect the information we store, both during its transmission and after it’s been received. We encrypt certain information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).  However, no method of transmission online or electronic storage is 100% secure. So even though we endeavour to do all we can, we can’t guarantee your complete protection.

How long do we keep your information?

We keep your information only if it is necessary. If we have entered into a contract with you and received payment for goods/services provided, it is necessary to keep your information for up to 7 years to satisfy tax regulations. If you subscribe to our mailing list, the information is kept until you unsubscribe from the list (please refer to the opt-out policy below). It is then irrevocably deleted.

The essential premise for us to retain data is because there was “Legitimate Interest” in our products or services.

This means that the person listed in the data purchased an item from Mole Vintage, or enquired to receive information from Mole Vintage.

The purpose of processing the data is undertaken on the basis of that legitimate interest, because the interest is not outweighed by the impact on the rights of the individual’s fundamental rights and freedoms. This is particularly the case because the specific purpose pursued was very clear and compelling.

If you no longer feel that there is a legitimate interest in our products and services and you no longer wish to receive any news or offers,
we completely understand, and will remove the respective data from our records.
